First Play Date

The other day Mason had his first play date. It was with Kelly's son, Aiden. Kelly and I went to Middle and High School together and is also Stacey's best friend (they grew up together). (For all of you who might not already know that :) ). Aiden is 1 month and 1 week younger than Mason. We meet them at Miwok Park at the "little" kid area. This was Mason and Aiden's first time on swings and they were so cute!!!! It was really windy so we were only there for 45 min. but it was still fun! I love any chance I get to spend time with Kelly not only because she is my only friend that can truly relate to what I am going through but it's also great seeing her and catching up!

7 Months

7 Months has flown by! Mason is such a big boy now. He is extremely active and always wants to be busy. If he has toys to play with he can be occupied for a good while. He is talking a lot (babbling). He says "da da", "ma ma", "ohh" and other babbles that I can't make sense of :). He also does this grunting thing. He grunts and squishes his face all up...it hilarious! Mason sits up completely on his own. And just a week or so ago he rolled over back to belly! So now he is a rolling over fool ;) back to belly---belly to back...it's a fun game during bedtime!!! Mason is such a beautifully easy baby...we feel so blessed. He is always so happy and content. Don't get me wrong he has his moments but they are far and few between. Love, food, toys, food, sleep.....that's all he needs :). He is still sleeping great. He did go through a phase were he was waking up at 2:30ish and wanting to eat. I was doing it for a while but then for 3 nights in a row Justin went in and patted him back to sleep and now that feeding is gone again. Typically he sleeps from 7-7:30pm to 5:30am then comes to bed with us. Sometimes he will fall back asleep but other times (like THIS morning) he won't! But still he just lays there and talks to the ceiling fan and then when that gets old I sit him up and he talks to me. It is one of our favorite times with him especially the week-ends when all 3 of us are still in bed! He is also still napping great. He takes a morning nap which lasts 30-45 min and an afternoon nap which ranges from 45min to 2 hours. He also is now loving his activity center that Grandpa Tom and Nichole got him for Christmas. He spins around with it playing with all of the interactive toys. He also loves books! He stares at the pictures and touches the book with curiosity. Oh and let me not forget that we all just went to Cabo, Mexico on a wonderful vacation with the Garcia family. Mason went on his first plane and he did great. At the end of each way he did have little crying fits out of being tired. Nothing major though. Mason loved the pool there...we spent everyday in the water! He took his naps on a towel on grass next to the pool. People would walk by and stop to stare..he looked so cute! He also pet a horse that was walking on the beach...he has no fear..unlike his Mother who was watching from afar :) It was a great vacation and Mason now has his first stamp in his passport! I will try to get pics up but my printer is acting up!!! Hopefully they will be up soon!
