3 Months Old!

I can't believe how time is flying by! Mason will be 3 months old Dec 30 (that is if your counting days) otherwise of course his 3 Month birthday it Jan 7th! Mason is now sleeping in his crib! We put him down usually around 8-8:30pm and then he sleeps until 3:30-4:00am! We are so happy and love to have our alone time at night. Not to mention I really needed some 'real' sleep! Mason is doing great in all other areas as well. He is talking a lot! He says "a goo", "ahhhh", "ohhh" and some other sounds as well. He is really focusing on objects and faces as he is trying to memorize and study them. He smiles ALL the time now! I absolutely love it! As I am sure you all know at his 2 month check up he weighted 14.3 pounds :0!!!! So I can only imagine he is probably around 16-17 pounds now at 3 months! We have a tank on our hands! :)

2 Months Old

Mason is now 9 weeks old! At his last doctors appointment he weighed in at an amazing 14lbs 3oz! Basically he is a tank!!! And we love it~ He has rolls all over the place. His thighs have roll after roll..I have to pull them apart at bath time to clean him :) ha! He is smiling all of the time now. He even does some wide mouth big smiles and makes a little noise like he is trying to laugh. He is pretty ticklish and Mommy and him play little tickle games. We are doing more and more tummy time to help him build his motor skills and his strength. He is getting better everyday at lifting his head higher and higher. Mason is still sleeping with us..Mommy is having trouble letting him cry himself to sleep...I still feel like he is too young. But I do realize that we will have to bite the bullet at some point. I'm just not ready yet. He is sleeping longer through the night though. He only wakes up 1 or 2 times a night and the first time he usually only feeds for a couple minutes before he falls back asleep. Hopefully this is the case when he's in his crib as well!
